Planning and Execution Process

Natoon Nof Yam Security provides settlement defense services for 26 settlements in the Judea and Samaria region, across the Benjamin, Judea, and Etzion brigade sectors. The mission is carried out by a dedicated unit of approximately 160 security personnel, including staffing of settlement command posts (control units) and security officers and patrol units deployed across a sector spanning approximately 110 km.

Security personnel are combat-trained graduates of the Settlement Defense course, armed with both sidearms and long-range weapons, and operate in accordance with the stringent security procedures of the Ministry of Defense and the IDF.

Challenges

The sector is characterized by high security sensitivity and frequent daily security incidents, requiring constant alertness, full operational readiness, and rapid response capability. Managing a large workforce across a significant geographic spread, alongside continuous coordination with military and security forces, demands precise coordination, ongoing oversight, and an exceptionally high level of professionalism.

Solutions

The unit operates in close coordination with the military forces active in the sector and with the Settlement Defense Management (Hagash) of the Judea and Samaria Division and the Ministry of Defense. Rigorous operational management, sector-adapted force deployment, and high training standards enable a continuous, professional, and effective security response in both routine and emergency situations.
